CJ Karch is an artist and photographer living in Salem, Massachusetts, in the United States.  He studied Plant and Soil Sciences at the University of Massachusetts and photography at the Hallmark Institute of Photography. His love of story telling and passion for all creative forms have lead him to create his own unique brand of photographic art.

This series represents an exploration of materials, shapes, and lighting to influence emotion, spark the imagination, and alter the perception of reality. The images introduce viewers to a fantasy world populated by strange and whimsical creatures whose existence emerge from, yet transcend, the sum of their parts.
